I recently wrote four entries for The Literary Encyclopedia, two of which were about British-Pakistani writer Zeeba Sadiq. In the contemporary imagination, Sadiq is primarily known as the author of 38 Bahadurabad.
Memorable for its evocation of a lost karachi, the novel embodies the author's search to understand her childhood from different perspectives.
Here are the links to all my pieces on Zeeba Sadiq and her delightful debut novel.
